Manuscript Submission Instructions
1.) Go to http://www.abstractms.com/event/optionsvi2007/ and sign in using the e-mail address and password created for abstract submission.
If you have forgotten your password, click “Reset Password.”
2.) After successfully logging in you will automatically be taken to the “Enter Manuscript” page. Any abstracts associated with the e-mail address you used to log in will be found here.
3.) In the first column you will see a link to your manuscript if you have previously uploaded one. If you have not, it will say “No manuscript found.” The second column allows you to upload a new manuscript onto the system or replace a previously uploaded manuscript. Finally, the third column indicates the title of the previously uploaded abstract.
All uploaded manuscripts must be MS Word (.doc) files. Your submission should be limited to 2,000 words or less in length with no more than two pieces of data (either in figure or table format). Tables and figures must be embedded within the Word document in their final form and also referenced appropriately within the manuscript document. To upload your Word manuscript, begin by clicking “Browse…” in the second column to bring up a window for locating your manuscript on your computer.
4.) Once you have found and selected (highlighted) the manuscript document in that window, click “Open.” You will see the name of the file you selected appear in the window next to “Browse…,” and then click “Upload Manuscript.”
5.) Upon successful upload you will see the same page except you will notice the updated document name appears in the first column. Due to space constraints, there will be a limit of one manuscript per presenter.
6.) Scroll up and look on the left of the screen for the “Log Off” button. Click “Log Off” to exit Abstract MS.
