Tour of Niagara: Wednesday, June 20
Delegates will begin with a tour of charming 19th century town Niagara-on-the-Lake. A gateway to the Niagara region, this picturesque town has historic sites, shopping centers, and quaint restaurants to explore. The journey will follow the scenic Niagara Parkway, past the impressive Niagara Gorge, before arriving at Niagara Falls. Delegates will participate in the famous boat tour aboard the Maid of the Mist for an amazing close-up view of the Falls. Guests may explore the surrounding restaurants or visit the gift shops before heading back to Toronto.
Cultural Tours: Thursday, June 21
Options VI will provide chartered shuttles to Toronto’s newest center for the arts, entertainment, and culture, The Distillery District. Delegates will enjoy entertainment and authentic Canadian barbecue. Built in 1859, this area was once Canada’s largest distillery and is an outstanding example of Victorian industrial design. The “Hollywood” of Canada, this area was used as a movie set for Chicago and Gangs of New York. Delegates can network while browsing shops, art galleries, and cafes.

Arrangements for all of the tours must be handled directly with Roni Feldman & Associates, Inc. All tours are based on double occupancy. If a single occupancy is requested, a supplement will be added and the price of the tour will be determined at the time of registration. Should a third person be added to the room, and a rollaway bed is required, a charge will be determined at the time of registration. All hotels are subject to availability

The Stratford Festival

Just a two-hour drive to the west of Toronto, Stratford is a unique blend of old-world charm and modern technology where the tree-lined streets and stately architecture are complemented by the quiet beauty of the Avon River. The setting is reminiscent of William Shakespeare’s time, and it is here that the renowned Stratford Festival takes place every year. Upon arrival in Stratford, enjoy a brief city tour to experience its charm first-hand. Viewing the Avon River, you will be guided through the city centre and quaint streets until you arrive at your restaurant for lunch. Enjoy lunch in a superb setting at the Avoca Restaurant, followed by a matinee feature performance of Oklahoma at the Festival Theatre or the Comedy of Errors at the Avon Theatre, please note theater tickets are subject to availability.

Stepping Back Into Time Tour

Discover the beauty of “Festival Country”, where old customs live peacefully beside modern technology in sleepy villages and thriving towns. The program will include visits to an authentic farmer’s market and historic St. Jacob’s in the heart of the Mennonite farming community. The Mennonites maintain a thriving community with modest meetinghouses, one-room schools heated only by a wood stove, and horse-drawn vehicles for farming and transportation. Don’t be surprised to see one along side your bus. Enjoy stops at the buggy shed and the Farm Quilt Shop. See the famous “Kissing Bridge”, the last completely covered bridge in Ontario. Lunch will be served at historic Benjamin’s Inn in St. Jacobs. Continue to the town of Elora, one of “Ontario’s most beautiful natural attractions” nestled within a wonderland of towering pines and glacial formations. Elora offers world-class shopping, historic stone buildings, extraordinary craft shops, and affordable fine dining. See the Grand River—winding peacefully through town, only to plunge into the spectacular Elora Gorge. Relax and enjoy the atmosphere and fine food in one of the quaint country inns. To complete your day, browse the many specialty stores, which feature art, antiques, and fine crafts. The bus will depart after lunch so that the group will return to Toronto in time for the Opening Keynote Address at the Options VI conference.

Relaxation in the Muskokas
Saturday, June 16-Sunday, June 17
Day 1
Depart Toronto and begin your journey to the Deerhurst Resort, a luxury resort located in the heart of Muskoka. Nestled on 800 acres of rolling, wooded countryside on Peninsula Lake in Muskoka, Ontario, Deerhurst Resort radiates the charm of its natural setting. After a welcome lunch enjoy paddle boats at the waterfront, or a relaxing swim in the pool. Or, for an additional cost, try one of the two golf courses on the property, depending on your skill level. Current green fees run from $65.00-$160.00 CAD including cart.
Then rejoin the group for a dinner in one of the resort restaurants, followed by a ticket to Deerhurst famous Vegas-Style Cabaret Spectacular.
Day 2
Begin the day with a full Sunday Brunch at the Deerhurst Resort. Then try your hand at the tennis or squash courts. Or, you can take a long, leisurely walk through the grounds, clearing your mind and rejuvenating your body. For a small fee, take a Hummer tour through the area or rejuvenate at the Aveda© spa on property (additional fees apply). A full-service spa, you can treat yourself to a half-day package or just a single treatment to help prepare yourself for the upcoming Options VI conference.

and used at any location on the property, whether at the pool or on
the golf course. The bus will depart after lunch so that the group will

The Eastern Canada Tour
Sunday, June 24-Wednesday, June 27
Day 1
Depart from Toronto and begin the journey on a deluxe luxury motor coach to Montreal. Stay at Loews Hotel Vogue, located in the historic Banque du Canada building, close to Old Montreal, North America’s largest French speaking city followed by a Welcome Dinner in a private dining room. After a day of travel, it will be the perfect end to the day. Day 2
Enjoy a morning city tour of Old and New Montreal including such highlights as: St. Joseph’s Oratory, Notre Dame Basilica, a masterpiece of neo-gothic architecture; Mount Royal Look-Out, a panoramic and scenic view of the city; the Port of Montreal, a historic site along the waterfront; and Old Montreal with its history and cobblestone streets. For lunch, a typical French Canadian meal will be served in a private dining room at the Auberge Le Saint-Gabriel, a charming turn-of-the-century farmhouse in Old Montreal. Spend the afternoon shopping on the streets of Catherine or Old Montreal. Wander through the charming streets of Montreal or take a ferry tour along the harbor, a great way to see the city from a different viewpoint. Dinner will be on your own, a chance to try one of the many fabulous restaurants in the city. There is something for everyone in Montreal! Enjoy an evening at leisure to further explore the sights and sounds of Montreal. Montreal is a city that never sleeps, so there is an abundance of clubs and bars to enjoy until the late hours. Day 3
Check out of the hotel and travel to Ottawa in a deluxe air-conditioned motor coach and arrive in time for lunch at the Westin Ottawa Hotel, one of the Capital’s premier hotels. The Westin Ottawa provides guests with an opportunity for exploration of the many historical and cultural elements of the city. The afternoon will consist of a visit to the National Art Gallery of Canada or Canadian Museum of Civilization and Canadian War Museum, which houses Canada’s national artistic treasures in a magnificent setting. Options VI delegates will participate in an exclusive guided visit, which will include an overview of architect Moshe Safdie’s finest creation and a tour of the Canadian Art Gallery which houses the largest collection of Canadian Art in the world. Enjoy dinner in the heart of Ottawa, followed by a tour of Ottawa by Twilight, a unique way to experience the city at sunset. The tour will include such highlights as: the historic Rideau Canal; the ByWard Market, a colorful outdoors market; the Parliament Buildings, and an overview of some of the national museums. Day 4
Depart from Ottawa for Gananoque, located in the heart of Ontario’s most famous group of islands known as The Thousand Islands, and enjoy a one-hour scenic boat cruise of its narrow channels and shallow waterways. Lunch will be provided at the scenic Glen House Resort—nestled on the shores of the mighty St. Lawrence River. Depart for Toronto in the early afternoon, and travel along the picturesque “Heritage Highway” to Glenora and cross by ferry into the scenic Prince Edward County which boasts some of Ontario’s most surprising landscapes. You will arrive in Toronto at approximately 5:30 pm. Eastern Canada Four-Day Tour Program includes:
